Home Garden Center and Florist
We're no ordinary garden shop, and we're not a big-box store. We're better. As Bloomington-Normal's premier home and garden center, our customers receive the personal attention, quality, and expertise they'd expect from other shops - along with the wide selection found at major retail outlets. But it's the unique twists you'll find at Growing Grounds that set us apart from the crowd.
Distinctive pottery, bird baths & accessories, extraordinary home decor, beautiful fresh bouquets and so much more. Locally-owned for more than 34 years, Growing Grounds roots are in gardening. But that was just the beginning......
What Growing Grounds is Great at...

Our Guarantee
We are committed to offering top quality plant material. That is why all trees and woody shrubs are guaranteed for one year.
Replacement Guarantee
Growing Grounds' replacement guarantee covers all trees and woody shrubs hardy to zone 5. This guarantee extends 1 year from the date of purchase. Full price replacement for the 1st 90 days, half price for the remainder of 1 year. Plants will be replaced one time only. The guarantee requires proper planting and care of the plant. If we determine any plant is improperly planted or cared for, or if a tree is not staked, there will be a 1/2 price replacement. Replacements will be honored at purchase price. No refunds on plant material, replacements only. We want your plants to succeed the first time!
Labor/planting fees will not be covered. This guarantee does not cover physical damage from vandalism, animals, insects, weather conditions (ice, wind, flood, etc.), or chemical damage caused by herbicides.
Many plants and all evergreens (especially broadleaf evergreens) will receive some damage during a cold, harsh winter. This is a plant care issue. These plants will require some pruning and additional care. Ask us and we will be happy to advise you if winter damage occurs. Landscaper contractors purchase plants at a discount with no warranty.
